About the Saskatchewan Bus test

The bus class, Class 2 in most provinces and Class B or C in Ontario, lets you drive buses built to carry more than 24 passengers, such as transit and intercity coaches. The test centres on the responsibility of carrying people: managing passengers, loading and discharging safely, emergency exits and evacuation, and handling a long, tall, high-occupancy vehicle.

You will also see the federal Hours-of-Service rules and the railway-crossing procedures for passenger-carrying vehicles. If the bus has air brakes, which most full-size buses do, the air-brake endorsement is required as a separate result, and carrying passengers usually means a medical examination and record checks.
